For instance, you can create a bulletproof backpack for them.
Here's what to do:
- Buy a surplus ballistic
vest, usually available for $150 or less.
- The vest has two halves
– front and back. Separate these.
- Take one of the halves,
and place it inside your kid’s backpack towards the back of the pack, trimming
it to fit.
The vest will now serve
as an easy and discrete way of giving your kids some ballistic protection they
can hide behind just in case.
