Prepper Tip: Bulletproof Backpack For Your Kids

School shootings are always a concern, but there are some things you can do to protect your kids.

For instance, you can create a bulletproof backpack for them.

Here's what to do:

- Buy a surplus ballistic vest, usually available for $150 or less.

- The vest has two halves – front and back. Separate these.

- Take one of the halves, and place it inside your kid’s backpack towards the back of the pack, trimming it to fit.

The vest will now serve as an easy and discrete way of giving your kids some ballistic protection they can hide behind just in case.
