There are many
commercially available garage door locks, but they are pretty expensive.
A
great way to securely lock your garage door is by using a flexible gun type
lock.
Here's what to do:
- Look at your garage door track. You’ll
notice it has holes in it every few inches.
- Take a flexible gun or bike lock, and run it
through one of these holes.
- Make sure to wrap one
end around one of the garage door roller axles, cinching the lock down tight.
If you do it right, the
garage door won’t move more than a half inch or so.
