Soda can "pull tabs"
make great fishing hooks and are almost perfectly designed to be adapted as
such.
Here's what to do:
- Twist off a pull tab
from your soda can
- Note that it is shaped
like a figure 8
- Cut off one piece of
the tab so that the final shape looks like a lower case "g" rather than an "8".
- Sharpen the end of the "g" with a rock or file, and there you
have your hook!
